My name is Andy Milne and I work as the part time (18 hrs) Parish Clerk And Responsible Financial Officer and have been with Wilburton Parish Council Since 2023. I currently live in Stuntney With my lovely wife, dogs and cats and visit Wilburton two to three times a week. My professional career started in hospitality in 1978, I spent 15 years in hospitality Senior management and the last 25 years of my career was spent in education. I retired in 2019 and realised that I had retired too young (57). Since I moved To Stuntney in 1996, I have always had a soft spot for Wilburton. I am passionate about working with Wilburton Parish Council to improve the resources, community facilities and access to all of the services we provide.
I am fortunate to be able to use skills acquired in my career towards helping Wilburton’s electorate more as each year goes by with my economist’s head on, accounting skills, project management, health and safety, administrational and coordination expertise. I consider it a privilege to be working with an enthusiastic and dynamic parish council, a most lovely rural and historic village and all of the people I meet in the role.
